Privacy Policy

We collect only what a rescue needs: the profile details you choose to publish on your tag, and the coordinates a finder voluntarily shares at the moment of a scan. We never track your device continuously, we do not sell data, and we do not run advertising on finder pages. You can delete a profile, and every scan record attached to it, at any time from the app.

Terms of Service

TrackQR is provided free of charge and without warranty of uninterrupted service. It is a communication aid, not a substitute for emergency services — always call your local emergency number first in a life-threatening situation. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish on a tag, and for keeping medical details current.

Data & Location Use

Location is requested from the finder's browser only on a finder page, and only once per scan. A granted location is stored as a single timestamped record (latitude, longitude, accuracy) under the profile that was scanned, and is visible only to the profile owner. Denying location never blocks the page — the call and SMS fallbacks remain available.
